Maxwell and Lily find themselves in Gotham City, in an alternate universe. It is the fifth Scribblenauts game by 5th Cell and the first to cross over into another property. At this point, the only questions is why it took so long for this game to exist. Scribblenauts Unmasked: A DC Comics Adventure is a 2013 puzzle game for handheld devices. IGN gave the Wii U version an 8.8 out of 10, praising its creativity and level progression, though noting its difficulty was low, and the Nintendo characters were limited. The release of "Unmasked" was kind of a no-brainer for publisher Warner Brothers Interactive Entertainment which is the parent company to DC Comics and developer 5Th Cell. Scribblenauts Unlimited has received mixed reviews.
SCRIBBLENAUTS CHARACTERS PC
The announcement name-checks Batman, Superman, the Justice League, Lex Luthor, and Sinestro as characters that will pop up in the game as well as Metropolis, Gotham, and Atlantis as locations where the DC villains will plot and scheme (and Maxwell will have to try and stop them).īesides the usual "Scribblenauts" usual, "Unmasked" will feature dynamically-generated puzzles called "Heroic Challenges," while the Wii U and PC versions will include a Super Hero Creator where you can give your own custom characters traits of existing DC heroes and villains and share them or use them to solve puzzles. We're getting a new "Scribblenauts" game and it's going to feature the heroes and villains of the DC Universe helping Maxwell solve occasionally bizarre challenges. According to developer 5th Cell, the game features almost every character in the DC Universe - around 2000 characters in total - ranging from popular characters. Instead of just being based around levels like the other games were, this one has a large overworld where you can talk to characters, get missions, and find secrets. I would have gone with Vibe instead as the weird example, but whatever. Scribblenauts Unlimited features a much larger game world for you to enjoy than the previous games. It's coming this fall to the PC, Wii U, and 3DS, and it's going to let you draw in just about any DC Comics character you can think of.
